There are even websites you can go on to post your profile and check out other people with similar fantasies – a bit like Match.com but for doggers! It seems that it is becoming an ever more popular hobby throughout the UK and there are literally thousands of meeting places throughout the country, a survey carried out in 2013 found that Surrey had the most dogging sites on record, so if that’s where you live you should have no problem finding some action!

- Car parks – This seems to be the most popular setting for dogging spots throughout the UK, apparently we all quite like the idea of having sex on a car bonnet. That explains the phrase ‘on it like a car bonnet’!
- The beach – We have all had the romantic notion of having sex on the beach, it was such a popular fantasy (or activity) they even named a drink after it. Dogging on the beach is probably not what we originally had in mind, but apparently it’s an ideal place for getting down and dirty, or for watching others as they turn up the heat.
- Public toilets – This sounds very George Michael, and if that’s your fantasy then great, but it’s worth noting that while it’s not illegal to have sex outdoors, it is illegal to have sex in a public toilet so attempt this at your own risk!
- Woodland – Trees and privacy (not that you are looking for privacy but there’s less footfall from the unsuspecting public), you can get off the beaten track and find a nice clearing, a few trees for support and off you go.
Dogging is simply another form of exhibitionist or group sex, but with the added excitement of being outdoors, and as sex outdoors is one of the top sexual fantasies talked about, it’s no wonder it’s so popular. It’s a great way to experiment and, if you’re new at it, finding and joining an organised group that is well known is probably the safest way to fulfil this particular fantasy and maybe even turn it into a regular thing.
