In some relationships, sex toys are still a taboo topic and open conversation about them simply won’t happen or will lead to one of you sleeping on the sofa.
Sex is great, but sometimes you need some “me” time where you can relax with a toy and just have things your way for a little while. We don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
Here are 5 reasons that men can use to justify buying a fleshlight:
1) It’s different - sex is sex, and alone time is alone time.
They’re two different things and if you’re brave enough to tell your partner she feels just like a toy, you don’t need this blog post. Explain that when using a sex toy for yourself, it’s a completely different experience to your sexual experiences together. Tell her you don’t get the closeness, the excitement, the intimacy and she’ll soon realise your bedroom is big enough for the both of them.
2) For when she’s not around
Perhaps you work strange hours or there’s extended period of time where she simply isn’t around. This is a good way to show her that it isn’t a replacement and is simply to fill in gaps when she’s not there.
3) Curiosity
It’s a good reason, we all get curious about our sexual interests and desires so if you’ve never used a toy before, simply explain you’re curious about it and want to give it a go.
4) Use it together
Most sex toys in some way or another can be used to enhance the sexual experience you have together. A fleshlight for example can be an interesting addition to the team and there are many things your partner can do with it to make things interesting. We’ll show you these in later blog posts…
5) Buy her something too
When buying a toy for yourself, why not treat her to something too. This shows you’re not leaving her out and want her to experience toys for herself. You never know, after the first night she could be hooked :)
